In the last book, Maxwell Edwards is revealed to be his real name and also he is exposed as the last Inner Circle of Cavan leader and is killed. He tries to take Amira but fails and shoots Cammie three times. Then, he is killed and Rachel Morgan and Joe Solomon show up and explain to a shocked Amira and injured Cammie that he was illegitimate and therefore hard to track down.
